Jaw Coutouring

"Jaw Filler"

Jawline filler is rapidly becoming one of the most popular non surgical treatments. The process of ageing can leaad to sagging of the lower face including the jawline and the chin. Dermal fillers can be used to return definition to these areas to achieve a more youthful appearance using both the needle and cannula technique.

Dermal filler can be placed at the angle of the jaw, in the chin and the jowl area, to recreate an aesthetically youthful and structured jawline. A short, weak chin can be made to look more firm and contoured. This treatment can be used to create a more masculine jawline by squaring the jaw for a more feminine profile.

Benefits include: Strengthening of a weak or short chin, improving the proportion of the nose to the jawline, restoring the youthful "V" shape of the face, softening the crease that forms above the chin with age, softening the angle of the chin and sculpting and lifting sagging skin and jowls.

Cheek Augmentation

"Cheek Filler"

Cheek fillers can sound a little daunting. We've all seen those overfilled pillow faces on social media but they are actually one of the most beneficial aesthetic treatments available on the market. When choosing the right practitioner it can provide a refreshing, restoring mid face lift for the more mature client and alternatively a more defined and sculpted appearance for our younger clients.

With advanced age, the effects if volume loss and gravitational descent lead to a squaring effect of the face often with loss of volume in the cheeks.

Cheeks are an important structural feature of the face, because the fat pads that form the cheeks deflate, and fall downwards and inwards which in turn exacerbates the nasolabial folds. There is resorption of the bony maxilla (cheekbones) that further contributes to volume loss of the cheeks. The tear troughs, or the junction between the lower eyelid and cheek becomes more pronounced as the cheek loses volume and fails to provide support to the area.

Chin Augmentation

"Chin Filler"

The process of ageing can lead to sagging of the lower face including the jawline and the chin. Dermal fillers can be used to return definition to these areas to achieve a more youthful appearance using both the needle and the cannula techniques and is an excellent way to shape and adjust a more satisfactory profile.

Benefits of the treatment include: Creates definition, Creates balance and proportion to other facial features, restores lost volume, can fill a cleft, minimal downtime and risks.

Treatment of lines and wrinkles

Treatments available

Dermal Filler

From around the age of 25 the first signs of aging start to become apparent on the surface of the skin. Fine lines appear first, then over time wrinkles appear together with a loss of volume and a loss of density which all become more noticeable over time.

Dermal fillers are natural or synthetic gels that are injected into the skin to volumise, lift and improve the appearance of lines.

Hyaluronice acid is a naturally occurring sugar chain colecule found in all skin and soft tissues throughout the body, identical across species. It attracts and binds water and in the skin, providing volume and hydration, but also "cushioning" and supporting collagen.

They are manufactured and cross linked with proteins to produce a clear, sterile gel for injection directly into the skin to provide instant correction

Its soft formulation restores a natural feeling of fullness and hydration helping to retain moisture for a naturally rejuvenated look.

There is a broad range of fillers within this brand for various treatment areas to achieve optimum results. By promoting the retention of healthy levels of moisture within the skin over the long term, the lifting effects from this brand of filler last for up to a year after the initial procedure.

Temporal Hollows

"Temple Filler"

As we get older it is common to develop hollow and sunken temples. This is due to the general loss of volume and descent of tissues from the mid-face with advancing age.

Dermal filler can be injected to restore youthful smooth contours to the temple area, replacing volume that has been lost through the ageing process and creating an overall softer and more balanced facial appearance.

Nasolabial Folds

"Nose to mouth lines"

Nose to mouth lines, known as nasolabial folds form through the natural ageing process. The central part of the face loses soft tissue volume whilst the fat pads from the lateral parts of the face, thin and drop downwards due to changes in the adipose tissue and a loss of elasticity in the dermis. Dermal Fillers can be used just under the skin in this area to plump out the area and create a youthful lift.

Marionette Lines

"Mouth to chin lines"

During the ageing process, the fat pads in our upper face gradually diminish, while the fat pads in our lower face become fuller. This causes our skin to sag downwards and develop folds, such as marionette lines. Marionette lines are wrinkles which extend from each corner of your mouth down your chin. Marionette lines can cause your mouth to look downturned, giving you an unhappy appearance. Dermal Fillers are very effective at dealing with deep wrinkles such as marionette lines. They gently plump out the wrinkles resulting in a smoother appearance.

Treatment of Lines and Wrinkles

"Bunny Lines"

Bunny lines refer to the lines created by contraction of the muscles called the nasalis, which are prominent when we scrunch our nose up. The lines created can be static (seen at rest) or active (seen on movements such as laughing or talking). they can progress towards the cheek and eye area. Anti wrinkle products can be injected into each side of the nose to relax these lines and are often combines with upper face anti wrinkle treatments such as the frown and crows feet areas.

(Please note: an initial face to face consultation with a prescriber will be required for this treatment, the treatment will occur on a second appointment)

Treatment of lines and Wrinkles

"Chemical brow lift"

The muscles responsible for squinting pull the eyebrow downwards while the forehead muscles pull it upward. Overtime this upward holding effect weakens due to excessive use. Equally loss of skin fat creates a "sagging" look, particularly over the lateral aspect pf the eyes, making the eyes look tired or sleepy.

Anti wrinkle injections can be used just under the eyebrow, relaxing it and causing unopposed pull from the muscles lifting up the eyebrows, hence lifting the skin up and opening the eye.

(Please note: an initial face to face consultation with a prescriber will be required for this treatment, the treatment will occur on a second appointment)

Treatment of Lines and Wrinkles

"Peri oral" (smokers lines)

Peri oral lines, also known as vertical "lipstick/smokers lines", are the result of many years of sun exposure and the natural ageing process. They can be static (present at rest) or active (present on contraction) and can appear above and or below the lips.

This area can be treated with filler and Anti wrinkle injections for long lasting results

(Please note: an initial face to face consultation with a prescriber will be required for this treatment, the treatment will occur on a second appointment)

Treatment of Lines and Wrinkles

"Chin dimpling"

Overactivity of the chin muscles (also known as the mentalis) can lead to a prominent chin and an unattractive dimpling effect on the skin surface. the mentalis muscle can also cause the chin to appear very narrow or bulbous which is considered equally undesirable.

Anti wrinkle injections can be used to relax the mentalis, reduce the bulk of the chin and smooth its surface texture.

(Please note: an initial face to face consultation with a prescriber will be required for this treatment, the treatment will occur on a second appointment)

Treatment of Lines and Wrinkles

"Gummy smile"

The prominence of gum tissue on smiling results from the elevation of the upper lip muscles. This can sometimes cause embarrassment when smiling and have a big effect on self esteem.

Small dosages of Anti-wrinkle injections can be placed into the top half of the muscle to relax it allowing it to slightly drop.

(Please note: an initial face to face consultation with a prescriber will be required for this treatment, the treatment will occur on a second appointment)

Treatment of Lines and Wrinkles

"Nefertiti neck lift"

During the ageing process we lose muscle tone, skin elasticity and fat as well as a gradual gravitational descent of the soft tissues of the face. As a result the neck becomes saggy and wrinkly with a prominence of the muscular bands that extend from the jaws to the collar bones which in turn exaggerates the jowling effect in the lower face. this is often referred to as the "turkey neck".

A series of Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to lower muscles allowing the opposing muscles to elevate the lower face, softening the prominent bands extending along the neck. Equally this treatment will also enhance the contour of the jawline and reduce the appearance of jowls.

(Please note: an initial face to face consultation with a prescriber will be required for this treatment, the treatment will occur on a second appointment)

Treatment of Lines and Wrinkles

"Forehead lines"

Overtime we get horizontal forehead lines from our forehead muscles contracting when we raise our eyebrows which can create a tired or stressed appearance

Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to prevent lines developing/deepening or to soften existing lines. Elimination of these wrinkle lines leads to a fresh appearance and optimum results will be seen with a combination of forehead lines, frown lines and crows feet treatment.

(Please note: an initial face to face consultation with a prescriber will be required for this treatment, the treatment will occur on a second appointment)

Frown Lines

"Frown Lines"

Due to the ageing process, over time repeated frowning and excessive expressions result in frown lines which are vertical lines between and above your eyebrows. Similar to forehead lines, as we age these frown lines become more prominent often creating an angry, stressed or tired appearance.

Treatment for Lines and Wrinkles

"Crows Feet"

The contraction of our muscles around the yes which occur on smiling, laughing and squinting can form lines and wrinkles commonly known as crows feet. In some people these are present at rest and can deepen with time to extend into the cheek areas creating a "tired or Stressed" appearance.
